On Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming company, the song “Ditto” from NewJeans’ first album “OMG” surpassed 100 million views on the 33rd day after its release.
It set a new record for 100 million plays in the shortest period on Spotify.

Hyein (NewJeans) as a child
Hyein is a child actor.
She was cast in Jumbo Kids Model Selection 2014.
2017-2018: U.SSO Girl member
In July 2017, she was announced as the first member of Kids Planet’s first kid’s group, U.SSO Girl, and debuted on November 7 of that year with her first digital single, “Go Go Sing”.
Her stage name at the time was U.jeong.
She left the group in 2018.

Until NewJeans debut
Hyein has been a trainee of Source Music for about a year and a half, starting just before entering the first grade of junior high school.
She was most likely a member of Source Music between January and February 2021.
The other NewJeans members took the PLUS GLOBAL AUDITION in September 2019 and debuted with ADOR.
Unlike the other members, Hyein did not take the PLUS GLOBAL AUDITION.

She became a practicing member of Source Music in January-February 2021, when she was 13 years old, and would have joined ADOR after November 12, 2021, when ADOR was founded.
