We want you to know how the articles on K-POP star are made. Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the tools we use, but a person checks, corrects and edits every article before it is published. This page explains how that works.
How we use AI
We use the AI tool Claude, developed by Anthropic, for parts of our work: collecting background material, suggesting an outline for a profile or group guide and writing a first draft. It helps us cover a topic in full, for example every member of a large group or every release in a discography.
AI is a tool, not a source. No article is published in the form it leaves the AI tool.
What the editor does
After the draft stage, the editor takes over. This is the most important step. The editor:
- checks names, birthdays, debut dates and line-ups against agency announcements and the artists’ official channels
- checks chart results, awards and release dates against established music charts and reliable news outlets
- removes rumours, speculation and anything that cannot be confirmed
- removes or corrects anything that is wrong, out of date or misleading
- rewrites the text so it reads naturally and is easy to follow, also for someone who is new to K-pop
- adds the context a fan brings, such as how a song was received or why a moment mattered to the fandom
- makes sure the article is original and not copied from other websites
The goal is content that is correct, useful and written for people, not for search engines.
What we never use AI for
We do not use AI to create images or videos of real artists, to invent quotes or to write about an idol’s private life.
Why we are open about it
You should be able to trust what you read here and know how it was produced. That is why we explain our process.
We also follow Google’s guidance on helpful, reliable content: what matters is that content is accurate and made to help people, whether or not AI was involved in writing it. That is the standard we work to.
Fact-checking and responsibility
Everything we publish is the responsibility of the editorial team. The editor reviews each article before publication, and we update articles when facts change, for example when a member joins or leaves a group or a group signs with a new agency. You can read more about who we are on our About us page.
Found a mistake?
We work hard to get every detail right, but errors can still slip through. If you spot one, please tell us through our contact page and we will correct it as soon as we can.
